For our first meetup of the year on Wednesday January 11 we'll focus on getting your short screenplay ready for the CINE⚡️SPARK late submission deadline, which is quickly approaching on February 1st. Our special guest speaker will be Ann Marie Hak, winner of the 2020 CINE⚡️SPARK pitch competition and writer of Wishing Fall.

For our next meetup on Wednesday February 8th we'll continue discussing the topic of getting your ideas ready for submissions and applications. This time we’ll focus on getting your script and application ready for Canada Council for the Arts' Explore and Create grant programs, with an upcoming deadline of April 5th.

Bring your Telefilm Talent to Watch feature-film ideas or your Canada Council applications for further workshopping. This month's special guest speaker is Daniel Hogg.
