Story Break returns for 2023 with monthly sessions on focussed topics, special guests, table reads, and feedback forums. All are welcome to join us on the second Wednesday of each month for STORY BREAK – monthly meetup for screenwriters!

For our next meetup on Wednesday February 8th we’ll continue discussing the topic of getting your ideas ready for submissions and applications. This time we’ll focus on getting your script and application ready for Canada Council for the Arts’ Explore and Create grant programs, with an upcoming deadline of April 5th. (Pro Tip: Be sure to create your account and submit your profile well in advance of the deadline to ensure your eligibility gets approved.) This month’s session will be the precursor to a Q&A with Canada Council to be presented by CineVic in the coming weeks.
