Then don't miss the return of our Cold Reading series! An opportunity for writers to hear how your script flows and your characters sound, for actors to gain experience with on-the-spot no-rehearsal reading, and for viewers to join the fun by witnessing new work from local artists.

CINE⚡SPARK Pitch Event ~ Wednesday May 19th 2021 @ 7pm PDT ~part of the 9th annual Short Circuit Pacific Rim Film Festival ~ Now in its fifth year, CINE⚡SPARK annually awards a production package of cash, equipment, and services worth over $17,500 to an outstanding short screenplay by a filmmaker from the Vancouver Island and Gulf Islands region. The winner will have a year to complete the film and premiere it at next year’s Short Circuit Film Festival. The Top 5 have been chosen — now YOU can watch them pitch their projects LIVE!
