Victoria Cold Reading Series – Your 5 Fav Pages

It’s back!!
Kick off 2018 right by participating in “Your 5 Fav Pages” edition of CineVic’s Cold Reading Series. Whether you are a screenwriter or an actor, this could be your time to shine!
To those of you unfamiliar with cold readings, selected screenplays are read out loud (unrehearsed) to a live audience! The casting process takes place right before the event, so it’s a great opportunity for actors to get experience reading in front of a crowd and for screenwriters to hear how their characters sound off of the page.

***Screenwriter Information***
Register on Eventbrite and submit five of your favourite pages, and character descriptions, from your current in the works screenplay (PDFs only) to [email protected].
Screenplay Submission Fee: $10 (includes admission to event, whether your script is selected or not) ***One submission fee per script***

Several screenplays will be selected to be read out during this event. Feedback will also be provided live on stage. Writers of selected screenplays will will be notified by 15 February 2018.

Audience Tickets: $4 through Eventbrite, or $5 at the door.
