Jason is a 2020 recipient of both the Canada Council for the Arts Digital Originals grant and the Telefilm Talent to Watch program. We are extremely excited to have him as our final mentor to close out the Incubators training program. Topics to be covered include: • Grant writing and project development • Getting a crew together • Actors, music, and other licenses/contracts • Festivals and other forms of distribution •

CineVic presents A COLD READING EVENT - Live on Zoom - Wednesday November 18th 2020 @ 7pm - Have you been hunkered down writing screenplays to get you through pandemic isolation? Then don't miss the return of our Cold Reading series! An opportunity for writers to hear how your script flows and your characters sound, for actors to gain experience with on-the-spot no-rehearsal reading, and for viewers to join the fun by witnessing new work from local artists.
