CineVic and REEL Canada present a FREE public screening of Into the Forest for National Canadian Film Day 2018! Into the Forest tells the terrifyingly plausible story of a not-too-distant future where the power goes out for good, and two sisters must stick together in their isolated, rural home without gas, water, electricity or any of the technological conveniences that we take for granted.

CineVic’s 6th annual Short Circuit: Pacific Rim festival has received a record number of submissions from around the Pacific region, and we can’t wait to share them all with you! With submissions from Korea, Mexico, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Singapore, Taiwan, China, Papua New Guinea, USA, and British Columbia, this film festival will expose you to the best rising filmmakers from around the Pacific Rim, all without leaving Victoria.

Join your friends from CineVic on Saturday, October the 13th, as we debut our brand-new horror film event, Shock Therapy! Shock Therapy: Short Canadian Horror Films is the upcoming short Canadian horror event presented by CineVic Society of Independent Filmmakers. In its premiere year, Shock Therapy will be illuminating the best of Canadian short horror films, with a focus on the creative, satirical, and psychological.

CineVic presents... A Double-Bill Horror-Comedy Screening Event! WolfCop was the first project chosen for the CineCoup Film Accelerator program in 2014, and was named "movie of the year" by the National Post. The film quickly achieved cult status, and its sequel Another WolfCop was released in 2017. CineVic is pleased to present the Vancouver Island premiere of these two back-to-back B-movies from the Canadian prairies! Earlybird tickets on sale until October 1st.
