Film Festivus 2020 – call for submissions

Attention local filmmakers: Submit your short film for a chance to showcase your work at our annual FILM FESTIVUS! This year the films will be screened online December 23rd, and our theme is 🎁 Merry 🦠 Covid 😷 Christmas 🎄

THE GIST:
– No experience necessary!
– Submit a film you’ve already made or shoot a new one.
– Incorporate the theme in any way you choose: documentary, fiction, music video, or season’s greetings from your family to the world. Consider including some Festivus traditions such as airing of grievances, feats of strength, or anti-commercialism of the holidays. Anything goes – use your imagination!
– Keep it simple and use the tools you have available. Shoot on an iPhone, one of our CineVic cameras, or anything in between.
– Submissions are FREE and selected filmmakers will receive an artist screening fee.
– Maximum 8:00 minutes running time (shorter is okay too!).

HOW TO SUBMIT:
Email [email protected] with a link to download your video file from a cloud folder (or use a service such as WeTransfer to send us a large file). Do NOT post your video publicly on Vimeo or YouTube, simply send us the file. Include a headshot photo and very short bio of the film’s director(s).
