Ronin Camera Stabilizer Workshop

Join us in-person on April 6th to get your hands on both of our new camera stabilizers and learn their basic setup along with pro tips from Daniel Carruthers, Cinematographer and CineVic Equipment Manager. He'll provide an overview of features and functions on these two gimbals, and walk you through how to pair the Ronin SC with smaller cameras such as our Sony A7, or accommodate larger camera setups such as the RED Gemini with our Ronin 2 and Ready Rig.

Join screenwriter, filmmaker, and experienced pitcher Letay Williams for an overview of the art of the pitch. And we're not talking baseball! Participants can expect to learn the key elements and components that help make a good pitch. Come with an idea in mind and be excited to practice pitching one-on-one and/or to the group. We’ll also go over some tips to help build your nerve, focus your words, and sharpen your delivery in order to seal the deal.

Film Production Workshop: Location Sound and RED Camera Setup

This intensive two-day workshop is for technicians to learn more about industry practices and problem-solving, for location sound recording and on set camera operation in a scripted scenario. A basic understanding of audio principles, camera setup, and some location sound experience is preferred but not mandatory. Instructors Lesley Marshall and Daniel Taggart-Hodge will lead the workshop by employing terminology of anti-oppression based filmmaking and horizontal leadership structures. Please note this workshop is in-person only, and participants are expected to participate in both days.
