Join us for an artist talk and screening of work by Vancouver filmmaker Meeshelle Neal, the first mentor in CineVic's inaugural film training program The Incubators. We are pleased to welcome her back to Victoria after screening her film Mental at the 2018 Short Circuit Film Festival. Following the talk, enjoy a short reception to celebrate the launch of The Incubators! This event is FREE and open to the public.

Join us for an artist talk and screening of work by filmmaker and animator Amanda Strong. We are pleased to bring Amanda to the island as the third mentor in CineVic's new film training program The Incubators! This event will be held at Open Space (510 Fort Street). FREE and open to the public.

Join us for an artist talk by local Production Designer Joyce Kline. CineVic is happy to have Joyce as the fourth mentor in our new film training program The Incubators! This event is free and open to the public.

Join us for a FREE artist talk and screening of work by filmmaker and Assistant Director Trevor Cunningham. He has worked professionally in the film and television Industry for over 20 years as an Assistant Director, Screenwriter, and Director. CineVic is pleased to have Trevor as the fifth mentor in our new film training program The Incubators!

PLEASE NOTE: Due to popular demand we have moved the venue for this event to Movie Monday (Eric Martin Theatre - 2334 Trent Street). Join us for a FREE artist talk and screening of work with renowned filmmaker Vic Sarin. Sarin often wears both hats as Director and Cinematographer, and has worked in 3D and IMAX formats, creating a distinct look and feel with breathtaking visuals and a unique storytelling style that seamlessly weaves together emotional and visual aspects.

Join us for a FREE artist talk by renowned Cinematographer, Amy Belling. CineVic is pleased to bring Amy to Victoria as the sixth mentor in our new film training program The Incubators!

Amy Belling, CSC, is a Canadian Society of Cinematographers nominee and multiple Leo Award winning director of photography with a Master of Fine Arts in Cinematography from the American Film Institute Conservatory in Los Angeles. Belling has worked extensively in both film and video across features, documentaries, music videos, television and commercials since lensing her very first critically acclaimed short films, WHY THE ANDERSON CHILDREN DIDN’T COME TO DINNER (2003) and THE SADDEST BOY IN THE WORLD (2006) by Jamie Travis, which screened at the Toronto International Film Festival, SXSW, Slamdance, Rotterdam and Karlovy Vary.
