CineVic acknowledges and respects the long and ongoing history of the Lək̓ʷəŋən-speaking people, now known as the Songhees and Esquimalt Nations, as well as the W̱SÁNEĆ First Nation, on whose traditional and unceded territory we carry out our activities.

In all of our programming we strive to contribute to the processes of decolonization and reconciliation by empowering individuals through arts education and creative skills advancement. Adhering to our mandate, CineVic facilitates and promotes the production and exhibition of film, video, and media art as a continuation of storytelling traditions.
