Stories from the Silk Roads

During Asian Heritage Month, Kulea Culture Society presents Stories from the Silk Roads, a four-day event of music and film to celebrate the rich heritage of Canadians with roots in the Asian continent.
Launch Concert on May 8th at Hermann’s Jazz Club featuring the dynamic duo of Silk Road Music, Qui Xia He and André Thibault!
Enjoy 5 feature films screening at The Vic Theatre between May 9th-11th, showcasing filmmakers from China, India, Mongolia, Pakistan, and Turkey.
CineVic is pleased to collaborate on this project to present the final screening of short films by Asian-Canadian filmmakers on May 11th, including alumni of our own Short Circuit Pacific Rim Film Festival and local selections from Victoria and Vancouver.
