CineVic’s 6th annual Short Circuit: Pacific Rim festival has received a record number of submissions from around the Pacific region, and we can’t wait to share them all with you! With submissions from Korea, Mexico, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Singapore, Taiwan, China, Papua New Guinea, USA, and British Columbia, this film festival will expose you to the best rising filmmakers from around the Pacific Rim, all without leaving Victoria.

CINESPARK
In its 2nd year, CineVic’s CINESPARK will provide cash, in-kind equipment rentals and services (valued at over $10,000) to the production of an outstanding short film script by a writer/filmmaker from Vancouver Island or the Gulf Islands. The Top 6 CINESPARK finalists will pitch their projects in front of a live audience, following the BC Shorts screening.
The winner will be announced at the end of the Short Circuit on Saturday night!
CINESPARK is a FREE event, so come out and support these aspiring local filmmakers!
