Short Circuit 2020: That’s a wrap!

The first-ever #watchfromhome edition of Short Circuit Pacific Rim Film Festival was a smashing success!

From May 15th to 31st 2020, we showcased 30 short films from around the world in six themed programs for viewers to stream on demand.

We chatted with filmmakers from Victoria, Vancouver, Edmonton, Toronto, Singapore, Japan, Washington, and Hawaii in online Q&As via Zoom, Facebook, and Instagram.

Our audience tuned in from Canada, USA, Singapore, Ireland, UK, Germany, India, Mexico, Hong Kong, Australia, Japan, France, Portugal, Costa Rica, Russia, Turkey, Venezuela, Spain, Myanmar, Austria, Serbia, Italy, Pakistan, Phillipines, Taiwan, Poland, UAE, Netherlands, South Africa, New Zealand, Greece, Denmark, Brazil, Ghana, and Ecuador.

And revenue from a boost in ticket sales will be distributed amongst this year’s filmmakers from around the world!
