Member Meetup

February 5 @ 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm

Are you looking to meet, network, and collaborate with other CineVic members in-person?

Join us for the return of our CineVic Member Meetups! One of the perks of membership, this social event is free admission and open to current members only. Prospective members please click here for info on how to join >> and lapsed members please click here to renew >>.

For our first gathering of 2025, local writer and producer Claire Mulligan will chat with fellow CineVic member and director Arnold Lim. This dynamic duo has worked together on a few successful projects, two of which are screening at the upcoming Victoria Film Festival: Obscura – 옵스큐라 and Holdouts – 홀드아웃. They’ll share some tips and tricks on the importance of networking in building your career in film — making genuine connections, attracting meaningful opportunities, and gaining mutual exposure. We’ll do a quick Q&A and then open things up for a mix and mingle to apply your newfound networking techniques!

Snacks will be provided and drinks will be available for purchase. Registration is not required but we encourage members to RSVP.
