Film Festivus – call for submissions

CineVic Members: Submit your short film for a chance to showcase your work at our upcoming Film Festivus cabaret fundraiser!
This year the theme is Holiday Home Movies.
– No experience necessary!
– Submit a film you’ve already made, or shoot a new one.
– Shoot on an iPhone, our RED Gemini, or anything in between.
– Interpret the theme in any way you choose. Doc, fiction, music video, use your imagination!
– Maximum 5:00 minutes running time.
– We will only accept video files — if you want to dig up that old Super 8 reel, you’ll need to provide us with a digital copy. (ie. project onto a wall and record it on your phone)
– Prize awarded for Audience Favourite!
How to submit:
– Email [email protected] with a link to download your video file, OR bring your video file to our office on a USB drive
– Include 5 trivia questions (with answers) about your film that may be included in the pub quiz. No inside baseball — come up with questions about your film that anyone might be able to answer after watching it.
SUBMISSION DEADLINE UPDATE: Email us your name, film title, and trivia questions by Tuesday November 26th, and submit your finished film file by Sunday December 1st.
Selected filmmakers will be notified by Friday November 29th
